The Lindsay Lohan Saga

Once again Lindsay Lohan is in the public eye. She began her celebrity career with leading roles in movies such as Parent Trap and Mean Girls. With her role in the popular movie Mean Girls, she set a positive example to girls everywhere. But this, as we all know, didn’t last too long. She began to binge drink and was caught by the paparazzi on many occasions partying into the wee hours of the morning with wild girls such as Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Pictures of Lohan clearly stoned were published soon after the drunken ones. It was obviously this girl was in a downward spiral and would be hitting rock bottom soon. Lohan’s weight also became a huge issue. She was nothing more then skin and bones and was then soon admitted into rehab for her drug and alcohol problems. The newest juice on Lindsay Lohan is that she is now a lesbian. She has come out and told the public her girlfriend, Samantha Ronson and her are a serious couple and seem to be on and off again like every other celebrity relationship. What possibly could Lohan do next? Stay tuned!

Within today's society, we, as viewers, are obsessed with the rise and fall of celebrities. The biggest stories are the ones in which young celebrities grow up in the spotlight and once they hit their teens crash. These kids are in the public eye, with the entire world commenting on the way in which they live their life. The positive impact that Lohan used to have on girls was good in the way in which she wasn't skinny, like the girls in the magazines. She didn't have bleach blonde hair. She was a redhead with freakles, who wore clothes that were bigger than a 2. This positive impact quickly changed as she fell ino the "celebrity trap". She began to lose weight as a rapid speed, was wrapped up in the wrong crowd and was engaging in drugs and alcohol on a regular basis. This lifestyle that caused Lohan and Spears and many other celebrity girls to fall off proves to the public that living the celebrity lifestyle isn't all it is cracked up to be.
